Blocks from Girl's Craft Night

Finally finished my blocks from a girl's craft night! It was a lot of fun getting together with everyone and getting a chance to try a new craft. We used 4x4 blocks, mod podge, and of course the Cricut! I think mine turned out really cute, I LOVE them! Everyone did something different and they all turned out really good!!

On the butterflies I used a little bit of mod podge to make sure they would keep their 3-D form and I used the flower roller from Imaginisce to make the rolled flowers that are on the U block the pink flower is from a set by Imaginisce that includes flowers, gems, and a stencil to use with the iRock tool.

Blogging Slacker

Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything. I have a couple of projects that I am working on but one that I have really been trying to finish has taken priority over all... I will give you a little hint as to what I am working on. (this is also my first attempt at this so it's been a little slow to go, but I hope to finish the top within the next week.) I will also get in and do some paper crafts soon. Peachy Keen has a new challenge up and I really want to make something for it!

Peachy Keen Challenge

This is my entry into the Peachy Keen Challenge. I don't have any Peachy Keen Stamps so I couldn't do any of the cute faces. So I made these little flowers out of ribbon and my iRock. This is also my first attempt at an easel card.

Blast From the Past

I was reorganizing some of my crafting stuff and I found these. Does anyone remember Tracer-kins? I used to use stencils and then cut them out with scissors and an Exacto knife before I got my Cricut. Thank goodness for Provo Craft and Cricut! I think I may see if my little niece would like to play with these, she may have fun just coloring in the shapes.

Christmas Present

Well now that Christmas is done with and I have already given my gift, I guess it is safe to post some pictures. I think my brother really liked the gift I made for him this year! Usually I buy something for them but this year I decided to make some "Homemade crap" (as we like to put it). It turned out really well but was a lot harder to make then it looks, the darn transfer tape sticks to glass so fast and then the vinyl and then me cursing it.

Christmas Projects

Christmas tags for packages. These were fairly easy to make, I used my Gypsy to cut the names out of the tags and then did a solid tag as the base. I used Bags, Tags, boxes and more, Gypsy Font, and Plantin Schoolbook for the tags.

I made this wreath a couple of years back, just thought I would share since a lot of my old projects that I use every season are not posted on here. Wreaths are some of the easiest Christmas decorations to make. You just need to find the right design to go with your decor.

Color Challenge

This was a fun card to make, I have been wanting to use this cute little penguin! The lite blue paper with the snow flakes was designed on my gypsy and then I used my iRock to add the bling!
