Christmas Projects

Christmas tags for packages. These were fairly easy to make, I used my Gypsy to cut the names out of the tags and then did a solid tag as the base. I used Bags, Tags, boxes and more, Gypsy Font, and Plantin Schoolbook for the tags.

I made this wreath a couple of years back, just thought I would share since a lot of my old projects that I use every season are not posted on here. Wreaths are some of the easiest Christmas decorations to make. You just need to find the right design to go with your decor.

Color Challenge

This was a fun card to make, I have been wanting to use this cute little penguin! The lite blue paper with the snow flakes was designed on my gypsy and then I used my iRock to add the bling!

Christmas Card Pack

Here are some cards that I made for a white elephant gift. I have been dying to use this cute little reindeer. It is so adorable! I also used some glimmer mist on the scarf and nose just to give it some bling. It's hard to see in the pictures but they are sparkly.

Dog Bed

This is just a dog bed I made for our Westie. We went to the fabric store to get some stuffing but they were all out so instead we went to Big Lots and bought pillows, at a very low price, and used their stuffing for the bed.

Baby Blanket

Well here is my first try at a blanket, it didn't turn out too bad. Next time I will definitely use a less stretchy material. It pulled through the sewing machine a little weird, but it turned out pretty cute. I love the fabric I found at JoAnn's for a great deal.

Creative Time Animal Challenge

Woohoo, my first 12x12 scrapbook page. I have never made one this size. I decided that for the Creative Time Challenge I would do a page with my dog to keep with the animal theme. I used the paper pups cartridge, Hannah Montana for the K, and opposites attract for the rest on Kenzie, I think it turned out great! And I got to use my new iRock I got this past weekend, it was so easy and added just enough!

MPS Challenge - Pink Imagine-nation

So I decided to go ahead and do a design related to fall instead of Halloween, even though I love Halloween! I used the new cuttlebug embosser that I got at the Cricut Swarm for a little dimension.

Cricut Swarm!

So yesterday was the Provo Craft Cricut Swarm (don't worry if you couldn't make it this year there is always next year, it sounded like they are planning on doing it annually) Just thought I would show some of the make and takes American Craft did, the loot I picked up at CreativeXpress, and the freebies Provo Craft gave out at the door (including the gypsy they gave everyone!)

Here is a cute idea for a treat box using a 12x12 piece of paper. This was super easy and will make great gifts for Halloween and then Christmas!

SPOOKY! Super cute tag also very easy to make and great for tagging a treat for a Halloween gift.

Exclusive Cuttlebug Embossing folders, Creative Escape and a floral design that looks like a chandelier to me.

I bought this cute pack of Halloween paper at the CreativeXpress store they had on site. CreativeXpress does have a website, which I went to order a cuttlebug from last night because I don't have one, and they have a great deal going on a YourStory bundle for $30. I had to order it with my cuttlebug, I got an extra 10% their already low price!

More loot from CreativeXpress. They had so much stuff at such great prices, I got out for a pretty reasonable amount!

Ah... now to my reason for even going in the first place my new Cricut GYPSY!! Provo Craft literally handed these out like candy. I have wanted one for so long, and now I have one! So enough blogging I had better start playing with it!!

Creative Time Challenge

Creative Time put out a challenge to make a shaped card including the color orange. Well I remembered that I was supposed to include orange just as I was putting the eyes on my blob card. So now I have two quick cricut cards to show.

These were both done using the mini monsters cartridge. And like I said they were quick so they don't have a lot to them.

Cricut Swarm Swap Items

This will be my first Cricut Swarm and I am super excited because it is being hosted by Provo Craft. When I found out that every attendee gets a Gypsy I was in! (I don't have one but have wanted one for a while) So I figure a day of fun and a Gypsy, it's a win win!

So for this Swarm we need to bring items to swap that we have made with our cricut I am having some trouble deciding on what to make. Here are a couple of the treat boxes I have put together. I think I am liking the idea of the Mini monster bag in different colors.

Here is a quick Halloween card that I put together for the My Pink Stamper Spooky challenge. This is a cute pumpkin from "Stretch your Imagination"

Envelop Challenge

My Pink Stamper put out a challenge to use an envelop in one of your projects, so in the spirit of Halloween I made this monster make believe board. I love how it turned out and I think that it is going to be lots of fun for kids to play with.

I used Wild card to make the envelope and Mini Monsters for everything else.

Grandma's Card

My beautiful grandma just celebrated her 87th birthday. She loves humming birds, so with the Cricut this was the closest I could get. She loved it though!

Oh yea! Halloween is approaching, and I love Halloween. These are some treat boxes I have been experimenting with, saw this in a Halloween themed magazine I thought I needed to try it out for my self. Can't wait to give these to nieces and nephews!

Wedding Time

I don't get a lot of opportunities to make wedding cards (yes hard to believe living in Utah) but this was a fun one that I pulled together in about an hour. I got the colors as close as I could to what the wedding theme will be. Congrats to you again!

Message/Photo Board

This was so much fun to make but a project that the 'Craft Gods' wanted me to work for. Long story but I finally got it done, and now I just need to find a place to hang it up!

Babies

Lots of babies showing up this time of the year. I have a new nephew and one coming in December and Jason has a new niece coming real soon. Exciting! Here are a couple of cards to celebrate the new arrivals.

Critter Cards

My mother got me the Create a Critter cartridge for my birthday I was so excited I made two cards immediately , I thought they turned out pretty cute. Very simple but cute!

Card I made for Jason

Thank you card for my mother!
